In response to the unfortunate resignation of Noreen Ward a few weeks ago, BARC Midlands Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Adams as our new BARC Connaught Speed Championship Coordinator.
Bob has extensive experience of both the automotive and motorsport sectors, which we believe makes him the ideal candidate. After working with MG Rover for over two decades, 2003 saw him move to Donington Park, subsequently fulfilling roles including Circuit Manager, Operations Manager and Sporting Director. During fifteen fantastic years he supported MotoGP, WTCC, WSBK, BSB, BTCC and Formula E, plus a range of other well-known national and international series.
However, his greatest achievements was working alongside Christopher Tate to bring Donington Park back from closure in 2010, returning the circuit to its rightful position as a highly successful and profitable venue just a few years later.
Throughout his career, Bob has always championed progress, both in two and four-wheel motorsport. As a result, his passion returned rallying to Donington Park after an absence
